Lead Cook
Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and efficient Lead Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage and mentor team members, and ensure consistent product quality. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrate excellent culinary and problem-solving skills, and align with our company's core values of Fun, Sex-Positivity, and Community Orientation.

Responsibilities
Able to do all the cook’s responsibilities
Able to operate multiple deep fryers, a stove, and hot water steamer.
To cook fried chicken, fried pickles, french fries, tater tots, hot dogs, and sausages.
To work some prep shifts where we prepare the chicken and hand cut french fries for the day’s service. We will also be preparing waffle batter and liquor menu items.
Adhere to high standards of cleanliness before, during, and after your shift. This means keeping a clean workspace, practicing good personal hygiene, and doing pest prevention practices.
Share responsibilities of dish duty with other cooks and FOH staff.
Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining focus and a positive attitude under pressure.
Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth and timely delivery of food orders to customers.
Help manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Be able to predict how much product we will need.
Encouraged to produce your own menu items that are in line with the Willies n Waffles concept.

Communicate effectively with team members to address any challenges and facilitate smooth operations.
Oversee daily back of house operations, ensuring a smooth workflow, efficient food preparation, and consistent product quality.
Supervise, train, and mentor team members to uphold the company's standards and values, while fostering a fun, positive, and inclusive work environment.
Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and overall guest satisfaction.
Manage and maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and control costs.
Implement and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and well-maintained workspace at all times.
Contribute to menu development and the creation of new, innovative dishes that align with the company's mission and values.
Serve as a role model and ambassador of the company's mission and values, exhibiting a sex-positive attitude and fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment.
Coordinate with management to implement new policies, procedures, or promotions, and provide feedback on back of house operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in a back of house leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or similar setting.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on efficiency and product quality.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse team.
A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
A sex-positive attitude and alignment with the company's core values.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
